In Genesis, we see God’s original intent to create a place where heaven and earth converged—a dwelling place for God and man to have unbroken union. This was where man was given the first commission to be fruitful and to multiply, to see Eden expanded into the earth. We believe this is directly connected to the great commission given by Jesus.

The heartbeat of Eden encapsulates a global view of what it means to see the kingdom of God expand throughout the earth—to see entire cities and nations restored to the Father through the power and love of Jesus Christ. While this includes Seattle, our mission in this will also overflow into the nations. We are aligning afresh to this mandate, to this commission through a name change.

In Genesis, we see the mandate was to be fruitful and to multiply. Early in 2023, Pastor Darren was impressed that we would be planting a second church campus before the end of the year. Through a time of prayer, steps of faith, and confirmations, the door opened to install Bjorn Geiseking as our new campus pastor and to secure a building in Arlington, WA. The church plant will be called Eden North.

Our model by which we will see our mission engaged is Family, Harvest, Justice, and Restoration.
